I came across this product a while ago. I have spent approximately the past 10 years looking for the best, most natural brown contact lens. I have light green/blue eyes but have always found beauty in brown eyes for some reason. Of course, the common issue with any contact lens - the pupil opening. Sometimes the color isn’t even dark enough overall and results in a weird shade that is unnatural. So I found this product, mulled it over for a long time because of the price point. Caved in at last. It took about 3 weeks for the contacts to be manufactured and a week to get here (USA) with express shipping. Am I amazed at this product? Yes. Would I recommend it? I’m not quite sure. Let me preface this by saying: I have been wearing colored contacts, almost every day, for the past 10 years. Tried out MANY. Cheap and expensive. My biggest issue is the sensation. Never in my life have I worn such an uncomfortable contact lens.. and I know that that is not normal. The fact that these are prescription and 6-month duration could contribute to this issue SLIGHTLY. But definitely not to this extent. The lens itself is extremely thick, which I immediately noticed when I cradled the almost $300 worth contact lens in-between my fingers. Stiff and thick, in a way I have never experienced. I was gonna give my eyes some time to adjust, and I did, made sure the contact lens was clean, rinsed vigorously with solution, used eye drops and so on. Unfortunately the sensation remains the same. The feeling of “there is something foreign in my eye” does not really go away. Which is.. such a bummer. The tint is very subtle. Not sunglasses-level at all, more like you increased the warmth on a picture. Which is amazing in itself, I will give it that. But at last, I would not recommend these lenses for daily wear. If somebody had mentioned this, I don’t think I would’ve bought them. The lens itself being so rigid- I’m nervous to itch my eyelid in case the lens literally just pops off my eyeball. I think I will continue to try and wear them, but I don’t think it’s sustainable for daily wear. If you want them for pictures, or some sort of SFX stuff I think these are great, but other than that, I would think twice about spending that money.
