FAQ

How long does it take to make custom lenses?

Custom lenses (including prescription) are hand-tinted to order and require a production time of 2–4 weeks before shipping. Toric lenses (for astigmatism) require a longer production time of approximately 6 weeks.

How long does shipping take?

We offer two reliable delivery methods:

  • DHL Globalmail – An economical international option. DHL handles your package until it reaches your country, where it’s passed to your local postal service. Delivery typically takes 7–21 business days.
  • DHL Express – A premium courier service with full tracking. Delivery usually takes 1–4 business days worldwide.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping, including to the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and many other countries.

Where do you ship from?

All Eyeling lenses are handcrafted in Sweden and shipped from our distribution center in Estonia (EU).

Will I pay customs or import duties?

Depending on your country, local customs fees, VAT, or import duties may apply. These charges are not included in the product price and are the customer’s responsibility.

For US orders, applicable import tariffs are collected at checkout with the shipping fee, so no additional tariff payment should be required on delivery.

Can I wear brown contacts with blue eyes?

Yes. Brown contacts can work very well on blue eyes when the lens has strong, natural-looking coverage. Eyeling Dark Brown and Eyeling Light Brown are designed to create a realistic brown-eye effect on light eyes.

Unlike many standard colored contacts, Eyeling lenses use a no visible pupil opening design, helping the brown shade blend more softly with your natural eye color.

For safe and comfortable wear, make sure your lenses are suitable for your eyes and follow proper contact lens care instructions.

Can I see through lenses with no visible pupil opening?

Yes. Eyeling lenses are tinted across the iris area, including the center, but they still allow light to pass through. Your vision should remain clear, although the overall brightness may feel slightly reduced, similar to wearing light sunglasses.

This is also why many customers with light-sensitive eyes choose Eyeling lenses.

Are colored eye contacts safe?

Yes, colored contact lenses can be safe when they are made from approved contact lens materials, fitted correctly, and used as instructed.

Always wash and dry your hands before handling lenses, clean and store them with fresh contact lens solution, and never rinse or store them in tap water. Do not sleep, swim, or shower while wearing contact lenses unless your eye care professional has specifically advised otherwise.

Buy contact lenses only from a reputable source and stop wearing them immediately if you experience redness, pain, irritation, or blurred vision.

What should I do if my lenses feel uncomfortable?

Remove the lenses immediately if you experience discomfort, redness, pain, irritation, excessive tearing, or blurred vision.

Check that the lens is clean, undamaged, and facing the correct way before reinserting. If discomfort continues, stop wearing the lenses and contact an eye care professional.

Can Eyeling lenses help with light sensitivity?

Yes. Eyeling lenses use a full-iris tint that softly filters light and helps reduce glare, making them a popular choice for people with light-sensitive eyes.

Many customers choose them for everyday comfort in bright outdoor light, office lighting, or other harsh light conditions.

Please note: Eyeling lenses are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. If you have severe light sensitivity, eye pain, or sudden vision changes, consult an eye care professional before wearing contact lenses.

Can you get natural-looking brown contacts?

Yes. Brown contact lenses are available in different shades, from light brown to dark brown. Eyeling brown lenses are designed for people who want a natural-looking brown-eye effect rather than a dramatic or costume-style look.

For light eyes, Eyeling Dark Brown and Eyeling Light Brown are popular choices because they are designed to cover the natural eye color more evenly.

Are contact lenses safe for a 14 year old?

Contact lenses can be suitable for many teenagers, including 14-year-olds, if they are responsible enough to follow proper hygiene and lens care instructions.

A parent or guardian should supervise lens use at the beginning, and the lenses should be suitable for the wearer’s eyes. If the wearer experiences redness, pain, irritation, or blurred vision, the lenses should be removed immediately and an eye care professional should be contacted.

Is it OK to wear colored contacts everyday?

Yes, colored contact lenses can be worn regularly if your eyes tolerate them well and you follow the recommended wear and care instructions.

Eyeling monthly lenses should not be worn for more than 12 hours per day and should be replaced one month after opening. Always clean and store them properly after each use, and give your eyes a break if you feel dryness or discomfort.

Do not sleep, swim, or shower while wearing contact lenses.

Can you cry with colored contacts on?

Yes, you can cry with colored contacts on. Tears naturally occur to lubricate and clean the eye, and wearing contact lenses, including colored ones, doesn't hinder this process.

However, it's important to ensure that your contacts are well-fitted and comfortable. If you experience discomfort while crying with contacts, it could indicate that the lenses are not fitting correctly or that your eyes are reacting to them, in which case you should consult an eye care professional.
